Granular congenital cell tumor in the newborn: a case report

Abstract

This report represents a case of unusual large size congenital granular cell tumor appearing on the maxillary alveolar ridge in a newborn. Positive staining was found for S-100 protein. The authors dis-cuss the clinical picture, histological findings, etiology and treatment of this rare lesion.
