Abstract

Error in Table 1

In the article titled “Assessment of contact area variations in primary molars of children based on the OXIS classification” [1], published in November 2025, there is an error in the rendering of Table 1 (Diagrammatic representation of contact area variations according to the OXIS classification [6]).

The initial galley proof or early version showed the table starting with the O-Open Contact row highlighted or boxed incorrectly, and some diagrams/descriptions (such as the place-ment or rendering of the X, I, and S shapes, including any unintended red lines or misalignments) did not match the intended layout.

The correct representation should read:

Table 1. Diagrammatic representation of contact area variations according to the OXIS classification [6].

This correction addresses a formatting/layout issue during proofreading and does not affect the scientific content, data, results, prevalence findings, or conclusions of the article.
